Alex Săndulescu is an interior architect and a self taught oil painter.
He has a Master's degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Architecture and Urbanism "Ion Mincu" from Bucharest, Romania.
He won 1st prize in the national interior design competition organized by Elle Decoration in 2013 - " Design Novo Park's reception "
He won 1st prize in the national competition to design a lobby for Sky Tower , the tallest building in Romania, in 2014.
He won 1st prize in UAUIM's competition " Design the 21st century bathroom with Kohler and Viega" in 2011.
He won an Honorable Mention and was invited to exhibit at WT Smart City Awards in Italy, Milan during Design week in 2014, his Avis Magica architectural project. WT Smart City international competition rewards the most visionary and sustainable ideas to transform in a positive way the urban landscape.
He exhibited his projects at BIFE-SIM Romexpo in 2013 and at EXPO MY HOUSE FAIR Romaero in 2014 in Romania.
He is the founder of ARMARADA "Design the future" romanian brand, designed to focus only on futuristic architecture.
He created several ultra-futuristic furniture objects like "Eusphyra" bar and "Waterlily" table which haven't been built yet because of their
complexity, but plans to do so in the future.
Several international and national architectural online journals and magazines like: ElleDecoration, Deltastudio, Arch2o, Inhabitat, E-architect, Archiscene, published his Avis Magica project and the residential Calabasas interior design project.
He continues to design, paint and exhibit his work.
